Ceiling Conversions
Styles change with the decades – this is true for your ceilings as much as it is for your Hammer pants. The look, feel and texture of ceilings have changed drastically. If your ceilings are stuck in the past, it’s time to consider a ceiling conversion.
These are some of the most common motivations we hear from homeowners seeking a ceiling conversion:
- “My ceiling texture doesn’t match my wall texture.”
- “The popcorn ceilings look so dated.”
- “My ceiling is peeling and creating a mess.”
- “I’m remodeling this room and the ceiling won’t match.”
Whatever the reason you need to update your ceilings, we’re here to make it happen.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will this take?
Every project is unique and will have its own timeline. Typically, ceiling conversions are a 6-step process that takes up to 10 days. This is variable depending on the scope of the project, however.
How far out is your schedule?
The general rule of thumb is approximately two weeks out. Sometimes sooner, sometimes later. We’ll be able to give you a more exact schedule following our initial consultation.
What is your pricing?
Pricing will vary depending your specific project. Contact us for a quote today!
What about painting?
We do recommend that the ceiling be painted following a conversion. This is not something we do, but we can offer some great local references.
What should I expect?
To ensure the project be completed as quickly as possible, the room(s) being worked on will be off-limits as living space for the duration of the project. The work area will be contained with poly sheeting. For the protection of your property, all items, including furniture & fixtures, must be removed from the workspace.
And if you’re wondering if this would be a great time to plan a vacation, the answer is YES! Many of our clients do. That allows for a project to be completed with minimal interruptions to your routine and you get to come home to a fresh, new ceiling
